Went looking west with the candy in hopes of some exotics since we hadn't had the bait yet this season. Unfortunately we had good conditions  just missing the key players. We opted to fill the bags and our 19 anglers had excellent fishing on both the shallow and deeper water bottom grabbers which they were eager to catch and sack up. Tried one more time before heading to the deeper water and our guys wanted to "catch" as they had wide open fishing the spot before. So we finished off with some quality rockfish and some lingcod before heading home.
